I was born in 1953 in Deanmill, in the South West of Western Australia. The bush was our backyard, and I think my inspiration to become an artist. In 1984 I fell ill – which resulted in me being in a wheelchair, from 1997 up to the present time. I graduated in Visual Arts, with a painting specialization. My style is considered Abstract Expressionist and Impressionist.
I have a degree in French from Edith Cowan University in Perth, and a Visual Arts degree from UniSA, in Adelaide. I have featured in various exhibitions during the Fringe and SALA Festivals in South Australia, with a solo show at Red Opus Art Space in St Peters, Adelaide. I will return home to Western Australia in January 2011 to be with my family, but still will continue my art practice.
